Colonna gala evening supports Pelgulinna Maternity Hospital

Colonna Kinnisvara invited its partners to attend a charity gala evening on Saturday 6 December to look back on the year and to support the Pelgulinna Maternity Hospital Support Fund.

The guests arriving at the gala, which was held at the House of the Blackheads in Tallinn’s Old Town, were greeted by Roberto de Silvestri, a member of the management board of Colonna Kinnisvara.

The gala evening, the second consecutive such event to be held, supported the year-end campaign of the Pelgulinna Maternity Hospital Support Fund, which is raising money for the renovation of the hospital’s family suites. The high point of the evening was the charity lottery and its tempting prizes. The lottery was conducted by Iris Tomson and the CEO of the Support Fund, Eeva Kauba.

Making their own contribution were the models who took part in the Embassy of Fashion catwalk show, who donated their fees to the hospital. Among those showcasing the stunning evening dresses were Janne Klooren, Heti Tulve, Adele Rüütel and Sandra Ude.

A total of 6270 euros was raised for the Support Fund from donations and sales of lottery tickets.

The gala evening was led by well-known Estonian singer Ines, who also took to the stage. Dancers from Utopia Entertainment also entertained the guests with an energetic cabaret performance.

Colonna and the Pelgulinna Maternity Hospital Support Fund began working together last December when a campaign was launched for the purchase of a brand new, state-of-the-art incubator. The incubator, valued at 12,000 euros, was presented to the Intensive Care Department at the hospital in February.

All money raised during this year’s campaign is to be used to upgrade the rooms at the hospital which are designed for families with newborns so as to ensure that a bright start is ensured for both the babies and their parents. An introductory video can be viewed online at www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZA0TD1ltk9g.

You can make a personal contribution to the cause by calling one of the Support Fund’s two donation lines: dial 900 6000 to donate 5 euros or 900 6100 to donate 10 euros.

Let’s help Pelgulinna Maternity Hospital upgrade its family suites!

Today marks the start of the year-end campaign of the Pelgulinna Maternity Hospital Support Fund, which will be collecting donations that will go towards the renovation of the hospital’s family suites.

All money raised during the campaign will be used to upgrade the rooms at the hospital which are designed for families with newborns so that a bright start is ensured for both the babies and their parents. Each cosy suite will provide the family using it with the privacy of a home away from home, featuring a double bed for the parents, an en suite bathroom and everything needed to take care of the newest member of the family. The suites also comfortably accommodate visitors.

The video clip for the campaign, which will continue until the end of January, is presented by well-known Estonian singer Eda-Ines Etti. You can watch it online at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZA0TD1ltk9g.

You can make a personal contribution to the cause by calling one of the Support Fund’s two donation lines: dial 900 6000 to donate 5 euros or 900 6100 to donate 10 euros.

Donations can also be made via bank transfer to the Pelgulinna Maternity Hospital Support Fund accounts in Swedbank (EE912200221014760940), SEB (EE871010220049001018) or Danske Bank (EE883300333007640004).

The year-end campaign was instigated by the real estate company Colonna Kinnisvara. Colonna and the Support Fund started working together last December when a campaign was launched for the purchase of a state-of-the-art incubator. Money was raised via telephone donations and a charity lottery, with the difference being covered by Colonna. The incubator, valued at 12,000 euros, was presented to the Intensive Care Department at Pelgulinna Maternity Hospital in February.
